When you create an account, we collect your email address and any profile information you provide through Clerk, our authentication provider. We also store the campaign data, character sheets, session notes, and other content you create while using The Chronicle.
We use your information solely to operate The Chronicle — to authenticate you, store your campaigns and characters, and provide the service. We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.
We use Clerk for authentication. Clerk may collect and process your email and login data in accordance with their own privacy policy at clerk.com/privacy. We use Railway to host our database and Vercel to host our frontend. We use Sentry for error monitoring, which may capture limited technical data when errors occur.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you'd like your data deleted, contact us at the email below and we'll remove it.
The Chronicle is not intended for users under 13. By creating an account you confirm you are at least 13 years old.
We may update this policy occasionally. Continued use of The Chronicle after changes means you accept the updated policy.
